Nirvana - Do You Love Me? (Remix)
This is a remix of "Do You Love Me?", originally from the KISS tribute compilation album "Hard To Believe", released in 1990.
It marks one of only two available studio recordings featuring Jason Everman on second guitar.
Not only was the performance, shall we say, beautifully horrendous, but so was the mix of this song.
I tried to get some structure into the mix, I hope you enjoy.
I used AI stem separation software (MDX23, Drumsep) to create multitracks from a WAV rip of the original CD.
It marks one of only two available studio recordings featuring Jason Everman on second guitar.

This is a band mockup of "She Only Lies", with two added guitars. The drums were taken from the Pachyderm version of "Sappy". The original track was processed with a tool called Spleeter to create two artificial stems for bass guitar and vocals. The bass was then mixed to match the sound of the Pachyderm session and the vocals were given a rescue treatment basically. Artwork by Kurt Cobain.

This is a band mockup of "Desire", I took the drums from "All Apologies" and added a bass guitar and two guitar tracks. The pitch from the original demo tape was very unstable (started slow, became a lot faster). Therefore I had to apply a fair amount of pitch correction to the overall track. Hope you enjoy! Although not technically from "In Utero", "Moist Vagina" was recorded at the recording session to the album. Here's a reimagination of what the song could have sounded like if it was released on "Nevermind". I copy-pasted some of the vocals to make it sound double-tracked. Unfortunately the multitracks ended prematurely, hence the early fade-out.

Here's an attempt to make "Territorial Pissings" sound as if it was released on "In Utero". I re-amped the guitars to make them sound like they were played through an amplifier instead of the mixing board.

Here's another band rendition attempt, this time it's the infamous "Burn My Britches". It's definitely one of the weaker song sketches on the "Montage of Heck" soundtrack, but it had a somewhat functioning arrangement in place which is why I took a crack at it. It was made on Nevermind, during the Smart sessions. It's the best version imo, it follows a very mellow vibe rather than the loud smells like teen spirit vibe seen everywhere else.

1989 at the Evergreen State Collage, according to what I know, it was recorded and mixed by an student, maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I remember
I found this on LiveNIRVANA: The session was produced by Greg Babior, an Evergreen student who had shared bills with NIRVANA in his own band, Lush (Babior would later found Earth with Dylan Carlson and Slim Moon). Babior needed to produce tracks for a class project, while NIRVANA welcomed free time in the college's professional Audio Studio. They drank red wine on the car and they recorded this being all the band very drunk
